Dr. Veneskey was born and raised in Anderson, IN but traveled to the island of St. Kitts to earn her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Ross University; one of the 28 accredited veterinary schools in the United States. While at Ross, Dr. Veneskey worked in the conservation of sea turtles and volunteered with the local children’s home. Since moving back to Anderson, Dr. Veneskey is pursuing her passion of living on a small homestead with her three dogs, a kitty and several, wonderful chickens! Dr. Veneskey holds a federal license for avian rehabilitation and has several rehabilitation cages at her house. Dr. Veneskey has been able to release several rehabilitated birds including three bald eagles. Wildlife medicine is something Dr. Veneskey enjoys and continues to practice at Chesterfield Animal Hospital.
